Letter To The ICBR: RE: Welsh

11.15.2007

By using the term British, you are including the Welsh (like me) and other Celtic offshoots of the United Kingdom, as part of your insane proposal.
Yes the Brits have caused problems but no more or less than lots of others and probably less so. You are a bunch of historical prats! You should remember that my fore fathers fought and died to prevent the U3 hitting your shores.

The Brits never had ambitions in Europe but they got involved when it was apparent that no one else could stop aggression.

We could have agreed terns with the Nazis but stood out to the benefit of the Yankee bastards that kept us out of Japan, tried to stuff the Labour government of Attlee (by calling in our tabs) and generally behaved like the ungrateful, untrustworthy American gutless morons they are.
Yes the BE has proved a pain to the World at time but the blood of Brits has re-paid that account on many occasions since to the betterment of mankind. Your historical inaccuracies make me want to vomit!!!!
No regards,
Richard Gwyn Jones

ICBR's Response to Letter:

Dear Richard,

We feel badly that you and your fellow Welshman have been enslaved to the crown since the late 13th century, but your forefathers did nothing to oppose British imperialism and we must hold you as accountable as your fellow countrymen for transgressions past. You must be aware of how England raped and pillaged Wales during the Industrial Revolution, paying no mind to the welfare of the Welsh working class or the environment. As Englishman profited, the Welsh countryside became a wasteland of sweetshop factories and slag heaps.

We also feel badly that you are so misinformed about the events of the Second World War. If Britain had stood up to Hitler from the beginning instead of appeasing his fascist indulgences, it’s very likely the entire war, both in Europe and the Pacific, could have been averted. We really don’t think protecting American shores from third-generation German rocketry was a motivating factor for the British military either; protecting your own soil after German bombs started falling on London was probably what motivated your boys to get off their asses and do something. Put that in your teacup and drink it.

Regards,
The ICBR
