A Mr. Steven Grasse published a bestseller recently entitled '101 Ways in which Britain has ruined the world.' As you can probably tell the main purpose of this 'book' is to simply divert the blame from the American government onto Britain.

I'll use an analogy here, consider America as a child throwing a tantrum because she cannot 'play nice,' and so decides to blame the parent for everything she has done wrong. Apparently, he always begins every public speech by reiterating the fact that he's a traveling businessman who encounters accusations towards America wherever he travels to. So I guess the entire world is wrong than Mr. Grasse?
What amuses me the most is the fact that Mr. Grasse is neither a writer, nor has he been involved in any form of history education since the 6th grade! I am suddenly reminded of the bigotry displayed by Mel Gibson in films such as 'The Patriot,' 'Gallipoli,' or the vomit inducing 'Braveheart,' largely for their manure enhancing historical inaccuracies.
"Bad Inventions. Machine guns, slums, prisons, child labor, bad hygiene, the Black Plague, concentration camps, you name it. If it hurts people, the British probably came up with it."

Oh dear, if only I could go back in time and destroy every British invention ever made, including Penicillin, the Television (Americans obviously don't want that), the Telephone, the Light Bulb (it wasn't Edison), Stainless Steel, the Smallpox Vaccine, the idea of Vaccination in general, The World Wide Web, the Pocket Calculator, the Seat Belt, The Lifeboat, The Jet Engine etc.

And the British invented bad hygiene? How can anybody INVENT bad hygiene!? Or even the plague for that matter? Plus, if he knew his history he would know that the Black Death originated in Southwestern Asia, and it is not as if they intentionally created such a disease. But of course Britain is responsible for everything bad, including Cancer, American obesity and the artist formally known as Prince.

"Genocide. Modern Britain was founded through the systematic erasure of indigenous culture and language. The English rounded up natives, seized their property, and forced them to relinquish their heritage and take on British language and culture as their own."

Fair play, Britain has committed terrible atrocities in her past that cannot be excused. But I would hardly conceive other countries, especially America to be entirely benevolent throughout their past. What about the near genocide of the Native Americans for example? Who have yet to receive a proper apology from the American government. But of course, Mr. Grasse would assert that it was Britain who inspired them to do so. Thus Mr. Grasse is basically reducing his nation to an incompetent baby who only mimics the actions of its mother.

Moreover, the stupidity of Mr. Grasse is clearly reflected in his misuse of the term Britain to entail simply England. So let's sue Britain for every penny she has to compensate the Scotts and the Welsh…

Nonetheless, let's give Mr. Grasse some credit, after doing a spot of research (something that he clearly lacks in his line of work) I discovered that he was the creator of a highly prestigious animation called "Bikini Bandits," I just cannot help but be consumed with awe by the sheer brilliance of this bloke.
