In An Ironic Twist, The Globalization That The British Invented Turns Against Them As Beloved Brown Sauce Departs for The Netherlands

03.28.2007

Philadelphia, PA – March 28, 2007 – The forces of globalization that are the root of all the worlds ills, from global warming to Third World starvation, can be traced back to England's lust for power - at any cost.

The British invented globalization, with one of the most famous early examples being the infamous Opium War (where they mercilessly forced the Chinese to buy and smoke opium.) And who can forget about the global slave trade that made so many Lords and Ladies fantastically wealthy???

Well now, the globalization that they invented and benefited from for so long is coming back to bite them on their British asses.

Last week, it was announced that Heinz, an American company, was going to start making England’s beloved HP sauce in the Netherlands, after being lovingly made in the UK for the past 108 years.

The reaction, of course, was for Britain to run around like little schoolgirls shrieking NOT FAIR! NOT FAIR! NOT FAIR!

Well, England, what's not fair is the 500 years of global misrule that you benefited from -and for that we want reparations! Pay up now or run the risk of other precious condiments being taken away from the factories that you’ve lorded over all these years. Bye-bye Marmite! See ya later Worcestershire Sauce! Catch ya on the flip flop Bisto Granules!
