American Museums Are Returning The World’s Antiquities While The Brits Say “Go Fuck Yourself!”

03.21.2007

Philadelphia, PA – March 21, 2007 – According to an expose in the March 12th issue of Newsweek, there is a great movement in America to return antiquities to their rightful owners and countries of origin.

This seems only natural to us. How can you argue that the Euphronios Krater belongs in America, when we can't even pronounce it.

In America, we have a history of righting our wrongs....for instance, our Native Americans now drive around in blinged-out Cadillac Escalades and own Casinos. Heck, they just bought the chain of Hard Rock Cafes. And they own their own football team...THE REDSKINS.

But not in England, oh no - nothing will make them give up anything without a fight.

You see, the artwork they looted from around the world is one of their last remnants of their evil imperialistic empire - and they just can't seem to let it go.

In fact, Robert Anderson, director of the British Museum, has flat out refused to let stolen artwork like the Partheon Marbles even tour their country of origin.

Come on England, it's time to give it up. It's time to empty out your museums and return your pilfered booty. IT'S TIME FOR REPARATIONS!
