The International Coalition for British Reparations Launches Global Print Campaign

Philadelphia, PA – January 26, 2007 – Britain beware – the International Coalition for British Reparations has launched a massive print campaign timed to the launch of the grassroots organization’s crusade for reparations in the sum of $58 trillion USD.

The campaign is slated to run in alt weeklies across the country and will expand to countries wherever the British Empire ruled and subsequently caused havoc. Steven Grasse, the founder of the ICBR unveiled the print ad at a press conference earlier this week at the National Constitution Center.

The Coalition consists of forgotten victims of the British Empire who have banded together to ask for compensation for the injuries and injustice suffered over the past five hundred years. England’s shameful misconduct and neglect have necessitated that a global network of citizens from all walks of life unite to seek reparations in the sum of 31 trillion pounds sterling. ($58 trillion USD).

The print campaign launches on the heels of the controversial pulling of an ICBR spot on “The O’Reilly Factor,” an action that is speculated to be a carefully orchestrated move by representatives for Prince Charles, who will visit Philadelphia this weekend. The Coalition is based out of the City of Brotherly Love.
