British Prisner Cuts Off Ear In Succesful Escape Attempt
A 28-year-old Manchester man has cut off his ear in a successful bid to escape from prison. According to a police spokesperson, Michael O'Donnell was removed from his cell and placed in an ambulance for transport to a local hospital after O'Donnell alerted prison guards to his injured ear.
While en route to the hospital, a stolen BMW forced the ambulance off the road at which point four masked men "attacked the vehicle with baseball bats and bolt cutters." Apparently the baseball bats were enough to over power the three prison guards accompanying O'Donnell and he escaped along with all four masked men.
Well now, Britain, might be time to start thinking bout arming your prison bobbies with a little more than a night stick. Although, it seems like if they were worth their salt they could have taken on some other guys armed with sticks.
