A worker at the Liverpool airport has admitted he knew the man he helped two women lift out of a taxi and attempt to check in for a flight was dead. The two women say they believed that 91-year-old Curt Willi Jarant, who was "wearing sunglasses" and lifted out of a cab and placed in a wheel chair before being checked in for a Berlin-bound flight, was merely sleeping. Some authorities are saying that Willi had been dead for at least 24 hours, but the women deny that accusation.
While this story is quite preposterous, you've got to admit these ladies (who, of course, are not British but German nationals) are actually pretty cool. They must have watched "Weekend at Bernies" a few times through. British airport worker, on the other hand, totally failed here.
